John the Revelator in the book of Revelation speaks of a book (scroll) with 7 seals. From D&C 77 we know that each seal represents 1000 years of the earth's history. Jesus Christ is the only one able to open these seals which he does and we get a peek into the happenings of each of these time periods. Because the first 5 seals are in the past, very little time is spent on them. The 6th seal is the last days and the 7th seal is the millennium. There is a debate among members of the church as to whether we are in the 6th seal or the 7th seal. John makes it clear that there is a period of time between when the 7th seal opens until the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ. So if we are in the 7th seal, then the 2nd coming could be very near; which is what many believe. If we are in the 6th seal, then there are still many events that need to transpire before the 2nd coming occurs. This video will explore which seal we are in and why.
