As a child, I would almost never hear the phrase “Abrahamic Covenant”. Today it is something we hear about all of the time. Perhaps that is because of the increased focus on the gathering of Israel which ties back to the Abrahamic Covenant, or perhaps it is the focus on “The Covenant Path” which is tied directly with the Abrahamic Covenant. Regardless of the reason for its greater prominence these days, it is a very good thing because the Abrahamic Covenant is one of the most important doctrines we need to understand in our journey to become like the Savior and return to live with our Heavenly Father. As Latter-day Saints, we have an enormous advantage over other religions in the understanding of the Abrahamic Covenant. This video helps describe what the Abrahamic Covenant is and the blessings that can come from it. But more importantly it describes the relationship between the Covenant and the Atonement of Jesus Christ.
