Something was in the air in the French Alps as one city was weirdly filled with multiple old people who were 100+ years old. The birthday party shown depicts the elderly and town celebrating and explains how this has happened.
In 1963, Bessans, which is a small town located high within the French Alps hosted a population of no more than 380 people. Of the 380 people, 38 of them combined for a total age of 3,200 years old. The above video illustrates Marianne Boniface celebrating her 100th birthday alongside her 102 year old husband. Historical records indicate the date of this clip to December 16, 1963.
