Castle Stalker, near Port Appin, Scotland is the beautiful backdrop for a bird watching walk. During the video we cross the Jubilee Bridge, see Mallards in their eclipse plumage and hear the melodious song of the European Robin.
The original castle on the island was a small fort, built by Clan MacDougall around 1320. The castle we see today was built by the Stewarts. Construction started around the 1440s. The Jubilee Bridge was built in 1898 to celebrate Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee.
