After I had already planned a trip down to Redding to visit a friend, the Union Pacific steam program coincidentally announced that the Big Boy was going to be in the area at the same time on it’s Coast-to-Coast tour. So, being that this son of a bitch is NEVER going to come visit the Pacific Northwest, I figured I might as well take the detour and go check it out in a couple spots. 🤷🏻
