In this BiColour Astrophotography Editing Tutorial In Photoshop I'm going to show you how to edit photos taken with OSC cameras using filters such as the Altair Astro Triband filter. Bicolour Astrophotography is becoming more and more popular with OSC Cameras as these filters allow you to capture Hydrogen Alpha and Oxygen III in single exposures using an OSC camera, to be edited later on. I don't think this is my best edit iteration of this nebula, but I hope to have at least taught you the techniques needed!
In this video we'll edit my data of the Tulip Nebula taken with a Skywatcher 80ED, Altair Astro Hypercam 183c and Altair Astro Triband Filter during the astrophotography imaging challenge with AstroAddict. The data has already been split into Hydrogen Alpha and Oxygen III using AstroPixel Processor. You can find out how to do this by following AstroStace's guide.
In the file you'll find two files which are already stretched using AstroPixel Processor, and two which have no stretch in case you want to do it yourself. This astrophotography processing tutorial assumes some knowledge about editing astrophotography images, If you're new or not sure then there is a link to my regular astrophotography editing tutorial on the North America Nebula.
