From the Bhagavad Gita, the five most important verses have been selected – verses that are powerful, clear, and full of tremendous insight and beauty – on each of the Gita's main topics: 1) Self-knowledge, 2) bhakti, 3) karma yoga, 4) meditation, 5) enlightenment, and 6) Who is Lord Krishna? Videos on all 6 topics available here: youtube.com/playlist?list=PLeP4eulMEXiPe6sa-3Xx5kqPVwcOE8fZx
The topic here is Self-Knowledge. Here, the word Self has a capital S because it refers to atma, the true self, your essential nature. Atma is the fundamental reality because of which you exist as a conscious being. In the Gita, Sri Krishna describes atma as pure consciousness, consciousness that's unborn, uncreated, eternal, limitless, and utterly untouched by suffering. In simple terms, atma is the divinity that dwells within you.
