The story starts with a restless male betta fish, darting here and there, wandering nowhere.
His days of living in the wild have all but gone. He has to be here within the confines of his existential realm.
Thriving, but furiously alone.
Building his bubble nest has become one of his favorite pastimes, a disposition from days of living in the wild.
What a bubble nest he builds!
Meanwhile, a female betta sets her sights high ...literally. There, she sees our hardworking betta, building his nest.
Is she impressed?
No, she is not.
So the betta has to work harder!
Late into the night, he is still trying...
On the next day, just before noon, the rehearsal silently begins.
He put up a good solo before, however, when it comes to a duo, not everything goes as planned...
Confusion fills the scene...
But no need to worry, everything comes at the right time, just be patient.
The time will come.
And so everything starts to fall into place.
Eggs soon fill up the bubble nest and so the story continues. On to a new part as the little bettas grow up in front of our eyes.
