Pros
- Micro FPV drone including all needed equipment (drone, batteries, controller transmitter, and FPV goggles) to fly FPV. No configuration or setup required. Ready to fly out of the box (after you charge the batteries).
- Can be flown indoors or outdoors.
- Weighs only 74 grams with installed battery. This drone does not require registration or remote ID in most countries.
- Constructed of impact resistant PA12 plastic. Should be resistant to most crashes.
- 1102/18000KV inverted duct brushless motors provide improved efficiency and thrust.
- Altitude hold vertical hovering feature is provided by both pressure, and laser time of flight (TOF) sensors.
- Also include automatic optical flow horizontal hovering capability.
- Three selectable flight modes of Normal (self-leveling, optical flow, and altitude hold all active), Sport (aka "Angle" mode: self-leveling active, NO optical flow or altitude hold), and Manual (aka "Acro" mode, NO self-leveling, optical flow, or altitude hold).
- Modular 3.7V 1100mah battery provides up to 8 minutes of flight time.
- Camera transmitter has selectable power levels of PIDS/25/100/200/350 mw
- Kit includes BETAFPV LiteRadio 2 ELRS controller, with 300 meter range.
- Kit also includes BETAFPV VR03 5.8Ghz analog periscopic FPV goggles with autoscan, SD card recording, and DVR playback capability.
Cons
- Camera has difficulty outdoors in bright sunlight, producing a somewhat darkened image, especially in shady areas.
- Optical flow hovering system also has difficulty outdoors in wind. The drone is best flown outdoors in Sport or Manual mode.
