If you want to make eye contact on Zoom, then the new MECA webcam is the best option. Eye contact is important, but difficult when talking to someone whose eyes are a few inches away from your webcam. You could stare at the green dot, buy an expensive teleprompter, or purchase a MECA webcam. This allows you to put the camera mid-screen.
I have not tested the Center Cam, but it is consistently available for purchase: thecentercam.com
The iContact camera performs well in bright light situations without a lot of back lighting: visitwebsite.co/iContact (affiliate link.)
I've tested many teleprompter options to allow eye contact (and this is still the best way to make eye contact because the camera is 100% hidden.) You can see my video about that setup here: youtu.be/ol0dcoXE05M

The MECA is a USB webcam, including a USB-C adapter. The camera mounts to the middle of the screen with adhesive or a magnet (if your screen is slim enough.) It includes a light and microphone. If you want to look good on video calls, this is the device for you.
