It has similar styling and handling to the Mini Hardtop, with the added experience of open-air driving. There's seating for four, but the rear seats are tight. Cargo room is also limited. It might not be a practical choice, but that's not why you buy a Mini. This is a car for people who put a priority on driving dynamics and crisp handling that makes twisting rural roads something to seek out rather than avoid. The responsive engines add to the fun, as does the option of manual transmission on the base trims. On the downside, the Mini Convertible is front-wheel drive only, which makes it less suited to inclement weather. However, for a fun, decidedly cute convertible with good power and great handling, the Mini Convertible is a great option.
