The Beijing Maglev Train S1 Line is open to the public. 7 out of the 8 stops are open. I am disappointed on how slow the train is. I even noticed that the dial speedometer only goes to 90km/h and the max speed is currently only around 70km/h. Hopefully the speed will increase, especially over the switches (turnouts). The Line is extremely quiet and smooth!
