Behind the Scenes of "Ocean Sounds for Instant Anxiety Relief"
There are videos where it's not easy to prove ownership, especially many of the older ones where I didn't record, take photos, or document anything while filming. In those instances, I often only have moments leading up to the recording or some photos.
In this case, I've found photos taken with my phone that corroborate my claims. One photo features my wife, another shows the camera recording the video that was published, and other photos capture the same sunrise but from a wider angle since they're in a 3:2 format instead of 16:9.
From the photo that includes the camera, you can verify that this is indeed the sunrise I captured. You can compare that photo with the published video and see that everything matches, from the clouds to the sun's reflections.
While I may not appear in the photos, my wife does, and I also possess the original video files that were published. Through this, I aim to establish that I recorded this video and that it is the sole property of Acerting Art.
I bring this up because YouTube has demonetized Acerting Art. When I appealed the decision, it was rejected on the grounds that they have no way to verify that I am the owner of the videos. By publishing this unreleased content, including photos of us or of the camera capturing the scene, I can prove that I have material only the original owner would have.
I hope YouTube will reconsider and remonetize the channel so that we can continue creating content as we've been doing for over a decade.
