How the Airbus A220 is Actually Built: Factory Tour
I got a look inside the Airbus A220 assembly plant in Mirabel, Canada! In this video, we go behind the scenes to see how these incredible passenger jets are built, from prefabrication to final assembly.
We explore the massive assembly halls where parts from all over the world come together to create the A220. I also get a rare look at the ground test bed (the "Iron Bird") where engineers test every electrical and hydraulic system to their limits before they ever touch the sky. Plus, we take a tour of "Airframe 7," one of the original test aircraft used to certify the plane.
