Welcome to our Beginner's Guide to Filmmaking Part 1. In this series, we'll be covering all the basics of filmmaking, from the idea to post production - and how to make a feature film. So, how to make a movie? Filmmaking for beginners is sometimes difficult figuring out where to start. But making a movie isn't just about fancy cameras and cinematography....It all starts with an idea. Movie making isn't a quick or simple process so make sure you're script is something you're passionate about. Filmmaking gets expensive. Do you believe in your film idea enough to spend thousands of dollars and hours on it? If you're going to lead a crew, over potentially months of filming, make sure it's an idea you love. Hopefully our filmmaking basics will get you started on your way on how to make a film.
