▶ For this track I kind of wanted to go for a shoegaze type vibe. The idea was for the vocals to not be too in your face and feel dreamy but then I also had the idea of making them vocoded with the intention of it evoking the feeling of how SMT demons speak, that digital vibe. I wanted the lyrics to encapsulate some of the themes of SMTV when it comes to Lucifer himself. Was a bit hesitant that it may not feel Beelzebub's vibes as a character but figured to go for the bigger picture of following Lucifer, his path and that of the Nahobino. The lyrical style also fit the shoegaze vibe I was going for
Huge shoutout to Tee-vee for the bass. I knew the moment I was writing this that I wanted the bass to shine in the whole piece as a focal point so felt I really wanted a human performance, Tee-vee knocked it out of the park, I was so excited when I first put the bass into the project. First time I've ever had a musician collaborator on a personal arrange!
