Bee Rock Trail is a great short hike in Griffth Park that takes you to a nice overlook above the Old LA Zoo. The hike is 2 miles round trip with 500 feet of elevation gain and it does get pretty steep at the end. It is a fun outdoor hike in Los Angeles and the view from the top is great.
