Dear all,
this week I am very happy to present you "Beautiful Heavy Load", which I wrote some years ago and now revisiting again. I remember the cold winter day, visiting my grandmother's last resting place. Driving there by car and getting out in front of the graveyard, I suddenly was standing in front of a huge tree with loads of snow on its branches. (The cover of the score shows this image). Then I asked myself how something beautiful can cause such a burden. Or the other way around: How can such a big burden for the tree look so beautiful for us outstanding viewers. And moreover - how can such a beauty stand here, where sadness and sorrow lives?! Maybe this big beauty spreads its branches and protects all sleeping souls there?!
Sometimes, a burden can nevertheless be beautiful or better said, something beautiful also can have its downsides. We accept them, otherwise we could not benefit from the beauty...?!
