Johannes Brahms composed this famous melody. It is a song (Lied) for voice and piano, first published in 1868. The lyrics are from a collection of German folk poems. Later, Brahms added a second verse from a poem by Georg Scherer.

In my arrangement you find the theme transcribed to E major. I made a short intro with harmonics, then a variation where I tried to implement the piano accompaniment. The second variation is in "Tremolo" - Style (popluar style for classical guitar which means repeating 3 notes from the upper voice pretty fast to pretend a sustainable sound).
