Keysight Design Software | Baylor University Uses Keysight ADS Python APIs to Succeed in ML Research for RF Power Amplifiers @KeysightEEsofEDA | Uploaded August 2024 | Updated October 2024, 5 hours ago.
At the IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium (IMS) 2024 conference, Jonathan Swindell, a PhD researcher at Baylor University, explains how the Python APIs of Keysight's Advanced Design System (ADS) have been used to generate power amplifier load pull training data for machine learning (ML) research, without human interaction with the ADS GUI. By automating the RF parameterization, nonlinear simulations across HPC resources, and data reduction and preparation, Baylor researchers saved an order of magnitude of time and resources in their artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML) research to accelerate RF power amplifier (PA) design efficiencies.
