First time trying paella, and I decided to go big. This challenge takes place at Daily Meal in Alcobendas, Madrid, Spain, and it's every bit as massive as the title suggests.

This seafood paella challenge weighs in at over 6.5 lbs and comes loaded with shrimp, calamari, chicken, pork, eggplant, and peppers, all inside a massive pan of rice at Daily Meal in Alcobendas, just outside Madrid. I've got one hour to work through it, plus two drinks I have to finish along the way. My friend "Dave Cheats" would also be attempting the challenge alongside me.
This challenge costs €25 whether you win or not, but if you win, you get your photo up on their wall of fame, and you get to eat free once per weekday for a full month. Since I wouldn't be able to make use of that if I won, the restaurant agreed to donate my prize to local charity, “Cáritas Madrid.”
