Introducing Le'Prude:
Le'Prude, believe it or not, is a Red variant of Le'Boin. As a fun fact, he is the first pure color palette swap introduced as an enemy variant since Le'Noir. If anything, this actually makes this lack of effort in design unique and endearing.
Stats (200%):
HP - 2,800,000
KBs - 1
Speed - 6
Range - 250 (Omni -320~400)
Damage - 21,600
Attack Rate - 2.9 sec
Abilities:
- 100% Explosion at 400 range
- Freeze Immune
Despite his simple looks, Le'Prude is by far the most dangerous variant of Le'Boin, surpassing even the mighty Papaou. His fast attack rate combined with far reach and Explosions makes Courier almost entirely useless as a chip damage option. Said Explosions can also reach up to 675 range, dealing damage steadily to Newton over time and preventing him from safely countering Le'Prude. His absurdly high HP, single KB count, far piercing range, and high DPS makes him an absolute menace of an enemy.
So how do you counter it? We go back to our roots. Strong up combos in tandem with Islands and Roe allow for very consistent damage against Le'Prude. Additionally, while Freeze is off the table, you can still use other status effects like Slow and KB to keep Le'Prude away and Weaken makes Roe even stronger against him.
This stage pairs Le'Prude with Black enemies in the form of SBK and Darkmadillo. Dark Lazer is also proficient enough at getting in against Le'Prude and dealing damage. Cyberpunk and Sniper are also effective at preventing Le'Prude from advancing. It shouldn't take long for your Islands to make short work of Le'Prude.
