Ponos finally manages to use Shachiko correctly in a stage and it doesn't even involve spawning multiple of them. This stage starts off with a Dark Otter and Haniwanwan to force some sort of attacker out, but don't send in anything fast. Hitting the base spawns M. Ost as the boss and this is the primary reason Shachiko actually works here. While it may seem strange that another Relic enemy is the one making Shachiko work here, M. Ost is best dealt with quickly here and there is no better way to do that than with Idi. Paired with the Black support throughout the stage in the form of Darkmadillo and Dark Otter, it's actually very difficult to land a clean shot on Shachiko with Idi.
The stage isn't done when M. Ost goes down though as the trio of Shachiko, Darkmadillo, and Dark Otter actually puts on a lot of pressure. The reason I use Nova and not Uril here is because of Nova's greater damage output and control over Shachiko and the reason I don't use both is because Uril can override Slows on Shachiko. Nova is my primary method of dealing with the Darkmadillo spam this stage has as you need to preserve your backliners here. Newton provides steady damage output on the whole stage and it's convenient to remember that Sage Slayer is not deactivated by Curse, meaning that Newton will always maintain his stat bonuses against Shachiko. Keep the pressure on the enemies and eventually you'll take down the frontliners and Lenoir in the back.
