Introducing Deathshund:
Deathshund is Zombie variant of Dagshund that acts as a backliner enemy as opposed to the frontline nature of Dagshund.
Stats (180%):
HP - 1,440,000
KBs - 1
Speed - 8
Range - 440
Damage - 54,000
DPS - 8,437
Abilities:
- 100% Freeze for 2 sec
- Burrows 900 range once
- Revives with 100% HP in 8 sec once
Deathshund shares many similarities with Lenoir functionally, albeit with the standard Zombie abilities on top. It's important to save your Holy Blast to take a chunk off of Deathshund's HP and prevent burrows as it is very difficult to regain lost space against it. You're kind of forced to just chip away at it when you can as the only reliable non-uber counter to it is Brainwashed Island, who I am not allowed to use for the sake of accessibility. Although backliners like Newton will work, none of the no uber options have Zombie Killer. Though not necessarily dangerous on its own, Deathund proves to be extremely difficult to break through and will often be the last thing to die on the stage.
The stage starts off with a Zang Roo that spawns too fast to Hblast so make sure you have a bit of a push forward at the beginning so it doesn't burrow straight on top of your base. Ostromeda serves as the boss here on base hit and spawns with another Zang Roo, but DO NOT Hblast this Zang Roo. It serves as bait for your Hblast so you'll use it and be unable to recharge it by the time Deathshund comes in. It's much more important to prevent Deathshund from burrowing, so save Hblast for that. Other than that, the usual Macho Legs and Psychocat can deal with Ostromeda with relative ease and there isn't any additional threat after Ostromeda so you can clean up Deathshund at your own pace.
