Week 3 of the anniversary is here and I’m actually gonna start with Yellow Ranger this time. You unlock Yellow Ranger by completing all Anniversary Weeks 1-3 missions, which includes clearing stage 1 of the Baron Face and Koryessa maps and… talking to the Red Ranger at the base for 4 days…
Yeah this is why I’m not using Yellow Ranger right now and why I’ll let the final stage of this wait until then. After this you should get Helmet Cat from missions.
Yellow Nyanko Ranger Stats (Lv.30)
HP - 35,700
KBs - 2
Range - 140 (Omni -100~190)
Speed - 8
Damage - 7,395
DPS - 1,246
Cost - 1,650
Cooldown - 14.53 sec
Abilities:
- Resist vs Dark
Yellow Ranger is a spammable Dark tanker, boasting an effective 142,000~178,500 HP vs Dark enemies, providing an invaluable wall especially early on when counters to Dark enemies might otherwise be few and far between. That being said, Yellow Ranger is about as effective as pre-TF Roe with more expensive cost and longer cooldown and no Weaken to support itself. Its usages will diminish rather quickly, then die completely once you have access to Jetpack, who boasts similar effective HP as a spammable meatshield.
However, Yellow Ranger has possibly the most impactful Strike combo outside of Anniversary stages, granting all Rangers Wave Immune. This applies to every single Ranger, immediately giving you a plethora of easily accessible Wave Immune units. This is incredibly valuable against Crazed and Manic Legs stages and the otherwise daunting Floor 30, while giving the previous two Rangers good matchups against their respective Kory variants.

Speaking of Kory variants, might as well introduce the one from the thumbnail at last.
Introducing Countess Koryessa:
Countess Koryessa is a Dark/Kaijin variant of Kory, being pretty much identical in function. She has high HP, weak damage, 200 range, and a 100% chance to unleash a Lv.5 Wave attack. This weak damage leaves her vulnerable to most units still, especially the Rangers who either further resist her with Kaijin Slayer or are outright immune with Yellow Ranger’s combo.
This stage is very easy and can be beaten with Red and Blue Ranger spam. Red is 30+9 and Blue is 30.
