(My last vid of VinCat- a romantic one- got muted by YT, so I put it on unlisted months ago hoping for the day the song might be allowed again, if anyone wondered where it disappeared to.). For this vid (watch in HD for highest clarity), I wanted to focus on all of what makes these two and their story epic- their love and how they fully trust one another and are a perfect team in all things -- in the love and in the danger. (Next vid I do of them will be full-blown romantic though. ;-)) Story follows lyrics- first part shows the past and snippets of present -- Catherine recalls their first meeting, with Vincent hiding from her, their tentative friendship soon growing into deep, passionate love. She remembers them standing together and fighting against Murfield and all those who would destroy them, as they struggled to protect each other and their life together, and she relives the pain of when Vincent was taken from her. Determined to find him, unwilling ever to give up, she knows she must stay strong and "stand her ground" so their enemies don't have the final triumph, and she relies on the strength of her love for Vincent and past victories against their foes. "Won't hide the truth inside"- is both figurative (accepting the beast and the danger that comes from loving Vincent because of his many enemies) and literal- when Vincent has been hidden away. Last part of vid, from the time she sees his image on the computer, goes into the present - with a message of hope at the end.
