One of my subscribers asked me to do a lesson on bass drum work. Scared as I am of doing something like this, he has convinced me to do it. So, here goes -
He said he can play drums, and is good with his sticks, but lacks control on his bass drum.
All I have done in these three videos is to demonstrate patterns that I have used to help me with bass drum control. I play along to several popular songs to put things into context.
Please remember - I ain't a pro and I ain't a teacher.
For the record, I was as self conscious as hell, doing this! Oh, and I had a bad hair day.........
