Before I can lay down the cedar decking, I first have to fabricate the outside railing because one of the uprights will be welded onto the deck frame and the board will have to be notched out for this. But once that's done, I jump in on getting the decking screwed down. Finally to the fun step of building a deck! Well, actually it's all been fun. But this step is extra fun. It's what makes a deck, a deck.
