I've been having trouble setting the fertilizer buggy correctly, so I take the time to create a stencil showing the volume of the bin at different levels. This way I can load a small amount and spread it, knowing how much it weighs and how many acres I should be covering with it. Once the stencil is painted on, I jump right in on spreading the preplant fertilizer for the radish that we are about to plant in another week.
