Having the whole Saturday free, I jump in on getting the horizontal metal beams up into place that form the main structure of the deck. Using clamps and some heavy angle as supporting brackets, I position all the metal beams so I can check to make sure everything is level before welding them to the uprights. After they are all welded in place, I cut the wooden joists and get them bolted in the hangers.
