The last thing I wanted to do in the barn for my sister's wedding reception was to build a big lighting center piece that would hang over the dance floor. Using two 8"x8" beams that came out of the barn, I cut lap joints and join them in an X shape. I use the CNC plasma cutting table to cut brackets and chain for the chandelier.
