Not letting a snow day slow down the progress on the barn deck, I work on getting the 6x6 pressure treated beam up into place. I also weld extensions onto the 4" square tubing that I'm using to support the deck, bringing the total length of each post to 26' and total weight to 400 lbs, before worrying about how to get them upright and on top of the concrete footings. Oh, and I fasten it all down with some straps, maybe permanently?
