I built a new set of concrete sidewalks to connect the house to the firepit, turning what used to be a muddy trek into a clean, solid path. From hauling gravel and dialing in drainage, to forming, rebar, and mixing batch after batch of concrete, this project was a full workout from start to finish. I also repaired and extended the entry steps, tying everything together into one continuous walkway. It was a long (and slightly masochistic) weekend, but having a finished path I’ll use every day made it completely worth it.
