The history of the Bark River Bravo 1 is actually pretty neat. Years ago, the Marine Force Recon bought several makers knives, one of which being the Gameskeeper from Bark River. Of all the knives they bought, the Gameskeeper came out on top through all their testing. The Force Recon testers approached Bark River with some changes they would like to see for the knife they wanted to use and the Bravo 1 was born. The Bravo 1 has Bark River's classic convex grind which is a great option for Bushcraft in my opinion as it performs a lot like a scandi grind yet has all the strength and edge retention of a convex grind. This knife is simply just a pleasure to use.
