There is no real argument that the Ozark Trail Folding Knives sold at Wal~Mart for $3.87 aren't the best blades in the world. But often times one must stick within their budget and buy what they can afford. Or maybe one is just after a new "toy" to play around with. Here we talk about buying budget, or lesser quality gear when need be, and modifying it to more fit one's needs instead of breaking the bank and buying much higher priced items. After a bit of tweaking, I have found this blade to be a decent EDC or "playing in the woods" folding knife and at this price point it certainly serves for a good option to toss in the glove compartment or in kits as a backup or beater knife.
