1. Rickshaws

2. Kuakata
A fishing village and beach in the far south of the country on the Bay of Bengal.
Tengragiri Forest Reserve is not far from the famous Sundarbans mangrove forest.
Kuakata has an unspoiled beach but it is a long journey from Dhaka to get there.
Locally caught fish are dried in the sun as a way of preservation for people that do not have refrigerators.
3. Barisal
A night-time launch departure is a noisy affair with the ferries sounding a variety of horns and sirens before departure. Fortunately once on the move it is quiet enough for a peaceful nights sleep in a small but comfortable cabin.
