Today's video is pretty unusual - BALLET & BOW. My ballet workout today is archery! I'm currently preparing for the premiere of "La Fille du Pharaon" at the Mariinsky and I'm going to dance the role of Pharaoh's Daughter, Aspiccia. For any noble Egyptian of that time archery was in the blood and I'm not even speaking about the hunting scene where Aspiccia is first seen in all of her glory in the very beginning of the ballet. That's why I needed to try archery, I needed to feel this rush of hitting the target and of course I needed to feel the beauty and grace of this sport and realize that it has so much in common with ballet. Thanks to the best archery club in Saint-Petersburg https://archerycenter.ru/ for this workout which turned out to be very useful for ballet! Hope you guys find this little video entertaining!
