Ok folks, here comes a second playthrough of Baldr Force EXE, but this time on the Playstation 2, originally released in the spring of 2005, but my copy is a 2006 ABC reprint (That's Alchemist Best Collection, not the American Broadcasting Company). with a CERO D rating on the front and spine, labeled orange. No, this isn't a person with no hair or Baldur's Gate, this is either the first or second entry in the Baldr franchise. I once did a playthrough of the Sega Dreamcast port back in September 2021.
In this playthrough, I played the 2D action sections fighting various enemies with my mech as well as my friends kicking some robot ass. Using your most powerful weapon is so satisfying to do. I also skipped most of the (long at times) cutscenes like any other visual novel. This is a pretty good game overall and now that I own a copy of this game on my PS2, someday, I will beat this game just like how my brother beat Duel Saviour Destiny back in October 2022.
I bought my copy back on January 16th, 2025 on eBay just before my mom (Linda Erickson, originally Padalec) left for Tucson, Arizona for a couple weeks from WestJet in Saskatoon. Also, my dad (Harvey) took the long route to Tucson via our red Chevrolet truck. I thought he was crazy. But enough about that, this game showed up at my local Canada Post (after the strike) on February 5th along with my bro receiving some manga volumes. I may buy a copy of Baldr Bullet Equilibrium (2007) someday.
If you like half visual novel games, then you might wanna check this one out like Device Reign (1999) on the PS1 and Saturn and Duel Savior Destiny (2005) on the PS2.
