Originally released on the American Thanksgiving of 2002 which is November 28th, 2002 comes a sequel to Tales of Destiny (1997/2006) and no it's not Tales of Eternia (I plan on doing a playthrough at some point.) released in North America, this the real ToD2 on the Playstation 2, not on the PS1. Probably the first time that Tales has shown up on the PS2. The main protagonist is a kid named Kyle Dunamis and no, it's not Kyle from South Park. This dude has spiky blonde hair and blue eyes just like Naruto Uzumaki and his hair kinda like Touma's from A Certain Magical Index. Not sure who that girl who appears in one of the anime FMV cutscenes is. In this playthrough I played for one hour long reaching the jungle forest area and the part where I was in a dungeon, I think. Your main character in this game runs fast, but not fast enough to put Sonic the Hedgehog to shame. The combat in this game is fluid and you also have your artes as well. For any Tales of Game, it's to be expected. Battles are short as to be expected as well. You still have random enemy encounters until Tales of Legendia (I think.) Also, like Tales of Destiny (remake) and Tales of Rebirth, you have a 3D overworld area (and yes, you can use the right joystick to rotate the camera in this game. Not sure why ToD remake, ToR or Star Ocean 3 didn't do that.) and I think that's about it. If you like the Tales of Franchise, you will probably like this one.
