Balatro is a game meant for the casino enthusiast. Taking a luck based card game like poker and infusing it with even more chaos is a recipe for a great game, especially when your wallet isn't being preyed upon. Balatro is a poker roguelike where you build broken poker hands and buff their power using strong wildcard jokers. It's a lot of fun, and one of the best games I've played so far in 2024.
