Team Rubicon CEO Art delaCruz shares exciting news: NFL quarterbacks Baker Mayfield and Kirk Cousins have each donated $50,000 to support our Hurricane Helene relief efforts. Despite being rivals on the field, they’re uniting off the field to help communities devastated by the hurricane across six states—from Florida all the way up to North Carolina.
“Tonight I am rooting for both teams on Thursday Night Football. You know why? Because Baker Mayfield and Kirk Cousins have both donated $50,000 apiece, and they are supporting our mission,” says Art. “You’re enabling amazing work. Team Rubicon is a veteran-led humanitarian organization that supports communities before, during, and after disasters. In response to Hurricane Helene, we’ve deployed over 240 volunteers, cleared over 14,300 cubic yards of debris, and opened access to 340 blocked roadways across Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, and the Carolinas. Our no-cost services are critical in helping communities get back on their feet.
