With help I now have improved collision. The playfield offset in PXE to draw the cars threw me off when trying to figure out collision (using sprites was much more simplistic). Once it was shown to me it really was not that bad and now the collision is back up and running.

I may shrink the hit box because the carts slam into cars too frequently and too fast. I may consider different interactions, like maybe they bounce or if the cars get hit enough times an angry customer will come chase you down and you must then do something. My son even suggested that since I colored one of the cart handles differently for testing purposes, I can make that a feature with each color representing a different cart behavior, like red are heat seeking carts, blue bounce, green go up and down, etc. This may be an interesting developement.

I also haven't figured out how I will do lives or levels. I was considering doing something like duck hunt, where you must eliminate x amount of carts, or maybe survive a wave of carts. Also not sure where to show the lives or a status bar if any. I am trying to improve upon the DPC+ version but not sure how yet.

I am testing player0 and it looks good and also with the carts spawning and respawning, there is really no issue with flicker as they never really occupy the same plane for long.
