In my #BadTimesattheElRoyaleMovieReview, I deconstruct this amazing thriller the way Goddard deconstructs genres. I hope this shows that Goddard, while considered 'derivative' by many, is really playing upon the tropes and staples of the genres he creates - this time, in "El Royale", giving you a study of the noir genre.

So is "El Royale" indeed a "bad time" for audiences...?
