Baconism is the philosophy of Sir Francis Bacon, outlined in the posthumously published work "New Atlantis, "where he outlines a society united around the three great traditions of Christianity, Philosophy, and Hermeticism. The goal of Baconism is to elevate the level of scientific focus to the mental and spiritual by using man's mastery of the physical world to devote all energies to this next frontier.
