After creating my first video I has some people tell me they couldn't get under the presser foot to pull the threads forward. I address how to work around that in this video.
Here is a brief description on the process:
When doing a coverstitch on thicker fabrics you often don't have enough room to remove the threads from under the presser foot. A work around is to remove them above the presser foot. If you can still get under the needles then it will prevent you from having to rethread your needles after you've removed the fabric. At times due to the bulk of the fabric you'll have no choice but to remove the thread from the front side of the needles - thus resulting in having to rethread them.
The important thing is this allows you to remove your fabric with all of the thread tails on the wrong side of the fabric no matter how bulky your fabric might be.
Please Note! The Evolution can simply sew off the fabric without using the method I demonstrate here.
