Will a B4 magic enable a 2/3" sensor camera to fully cover the 4K sensor area of a GH4?
I test my Canon 2/3" lens with a B4 Magic optical adapter that enlarges the circle of light produced by the lens to more fully cover the Micro 4/3 sensor. IT's not 100% but shooting 4K on a GH4 you can leverage the on-sensor crop and that dramatically improves things for two reasons:
1: the crop reduces the vignette.
2: higher resolution means you can then crop into the video (in post) and have a usable 3K image.
If you were shooting HD, the vignette would be worse. And, because you are shooting in HD (1080) there's not much cropping in post you can do.
