Here I take a look at the new Birddog FLEX line of converters- tiny, lightweight, PoE powered WIth the ability to power other devices down the line. The FLEX Backpack is especially good at this with an integrated NP-F battery mount to fit into the battery shoe on the back of monitors, recorders, and all kinds of things. This passes PoE power to the device and enables a single ethernet cable to provide power to TWO devices, capture 4K video, provide tally, coms, RS-232 control, and, later this year, Dante audio.
