1. We are Australia’s largest private (not for profit) owner/manager of land for conservation – protecting over 6.5 million hectares across 31 sanctuaries and partnership properties.
2. We partner with pastoralists and landholders to manage the three largest non-government, destocked areas in northern Australia.
3. We operate Australia’s largest prescribed burning program, restoring ecologically appropriate fire regimes to critical areas of central and northern Australia.
4. We are leading the charge on feral cats and foxes, with the largest network of feral predator-free safe-havens in Australia.
5. Through this network of large-scale wildlife sanctuaries, we protect some of the nation’s most iconic and endangered wildlife, including:
74 per cent of native mammal species (215 species)
88 per cent of native bird species (546 species)
54 per cent of reptile species (555 species)
56 per cent of amphibian species (133 species)
