Newhaven Wildlife Sanctuary (NT) is one of Australia’s largest non-government protected areas, spanning almost 262,000 hectares across Central Australia.
It’s also the site of a globally significant biodiversity restoration project, where at least ten nationally threatened and locally-extinct mammal species will be restored. (One of which will be announced this month - stay tuned!)
Tackling threats to wildlife across such a vast area requires 📈 science-informed management techniques, and 💪 a huge amount of hard work.
