I spent two years (off and on) restoring my 1966 Northfield 12" Jointer. It was worth it. I set the VFD ramp up time fairly long so as to not draw too much current. I will probably shorten it a bit to save some time.

Update: I changed parameter 2205 on the VFD from 60 seconds to 20 seconds, and seems to be working so far.
